Hi, I’m Jenny Sweat!

I’m the owner and lead naturalist guide of Okefenokee & Satilla Expeditions LLC. My business was created out of immense love for the Okefenokee Swamp, the Satilla River, and other beautiful places in Southeast Georgia - and the desire to help get people of all walks of life on the water. As a local born and raised in Ware County, Georgia, I love introducing my guests from around the world to our beautiful waterways here in my homeland.

Besides running ecotours, I also serve on the Board of Trustees of the Okefenokee Heritage Center and the Friends of Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge. When I’m not out on the water, I’m daydreaming of my next trip!

Based out of Waycross, GA, Okefenokee & Satilla Expeditions LLC offers rave-reviewed guided boat and paddle tours in the Okefenokee Swamp (Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge) and our local rivers.
