Private Okefenokee Tours
-
"We cannot thank Jenny enough for two full days of fun, exploring, and a wealth of information. Everyone had a great time, and we never could have navigated, or come to appreciate, the Swamp so much without Jenny as our guide. We would recommend Jenny to anyone who wants a smaller group experience. A smaller guided tour offered time for questions and closer exploration of the swamp into smaller areas. We did one half day boat trip and a second day in kayaks. We give Jenny an A+"

East Side or West Side?…
Okefenokee is huge, so the West and East entrances look very different from each other! Here are the differences:
East side tours explore the historic Suwannee Canal and Okefenokee’s prairies (marshes), with some spots of forested swamp. On east side tours you’ll have long vistas across the prairies with good wildlife viewing opportunities. These tours happen at the Suwannee Canal Recreation Area near Folkston.
West side tours explore Billy’s Lake, the Middle Fork Run, and Billy’s Island (water levels permitting). You’ll see cypress-lined lake vistas combined with “classic” winding cypress swamp waterways. Good wildlife viewing opportunities. These tours happen out of Stephen C. Foster State Park (located within Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge), not far from Fargo, GA.
Private Guided Paddle Tours
One of the world’s greatest and most unique wetlands lies right in our backyard in south Georgia. The famed Okefenokee Swamp is a National Wildlife Refuge, National Wilderness Area, and more. Basking alligators, bugling sandhill cranes, the wide vistas of the marshy prairies and the jungle of the cypress forest… this place is magic! Our personalized paddle tours are an incredible way to explore the Okefenokee Swamp quietly. Tour fee includes your kayak, paddle, PFD, water, snacks, and emergency equipment. Enjoy a fully narrated tour by your local professional naturalist guide, who will teach all about the history, flora, fauna, and old stories of Okefenokee as they take you on an amazing journey into the backcountry of the Land of the Trembling Earth.
